This week we have been writing personal narrative paragraphs about one of our most recent tiny moments, the Johnson's Farm Field Trip. When we write personal narratives, we try to capture tiny moments from our life on paper. The students know that the purpose of this writing is to inform, but they also try to write their narrative in a way that also entertains. Each of our Writer's Workshop lessons is helping us get better at using the Six Traits to become great writers.
*Thank you to Mrs. R for the pictures. I was having so much fun with the kids that I forgot to get enough good shots.
