Today in Math we proved that Math is Everywhere! We were able to locate dozens of examples from magazines that illustrated the real life application of double-digit subtraction with and without regrouping. The students cut out pictures and created word problems with two-digit numbers to show how math is important in different situations. This has alsways been a favorite activity of mine to complete after a few days in a row of drill and practice. Now that we can all subtract two digits and borrow when we need to, let's keep validating WHY we learned this skill and how it will help us for the rest of our lives! Great job everyone!
