Writing Contests

This week our class wrote drafts for the following writing contests.  I will look over them this weekend and help the students edit and revise their final drafts next week.  They showed great caring and empathy in their writing pieces about helping friends for the first contest.  I thought the Atlantic City Press writing sample was a little tough to wrap your head around, but these writers still came up with some creative endings to the piece entitled, "Curious Cats."  We will easily be finished before both contest deadlines.  I'll pass on more information if I hear anything.  Great writing Cavileers!  Click both pictures for more information on each writing contest.
