Band-Aid Writing
Write about a time when you or someone you know got hurt. Tell the events that happened and how you and others reacted. This personal narrative prompt was our focus for Writer's Workshop today with an emphasis on past-tense verbs within these writing samples.
After completing the writing portion of our lesson, each student was given art paper and three band-aids to use as props in their story illustration.
