Liquid Layers

Tomorrow (2/21) is our Matter test in Science.  We have learned about Solids, Liquids, and Gases.  This Unit has given us the opportunity to explore and experiment.  We made Oobleck one day and had to decide if it was a solid or liquid.  The problem was that it had properties of both phases of matter.

We also tested the properties of liquids through this liquid layers experiment.  We knew that liquids would take the shape of their contained, but by exploring density, we saw that liquid molecules can flow past others of less density and layer themselves within the container.  It didn't matter what order we poured them in!
Check it out!
